label forward, always
Every can, jar and bottle is turned, wiped and checked before the shutter fires. A crooked label is a reshoot, and the reshoot is on us.
About the studio · Yonkers, NY
Tanner Quarter was set up for people who spend their hours on recipes, roasts and brines, and would rather not spend them on lighting diagrams. You send the product. We set the table, shoot it from above, retouch it and write the license, so the first thing you do with the files is post them.

We'll write back within one business day with availability and a shot plan.
House rules
Hospitality is the whole job. These are the small things we do before you have to ask.
Every can, jar and bottle is turned, wiped and checked before the shutter fires. A crooked label is a reshoot, and the reshoot is on us.
Samples are logged against your list the day they land, and you get an emailed receipt noting any dents, leaks or missing flavors while there is still time to fix them.
A color checker goes in the first frame of every shoot, and retouching is matched to your label artwork so the red on screen is the red on the shelf.
Every library arrives with a plain-language usage letter naming where the images may live, so a retailer or an ad platform never has to ask you for paperwork.
A shoot day on Sterling Ave
Shoot days run inside our opening hours, Monday to Thursday, so you can drop by, watch the monitor, or leave us to it.
Samples come out of their cartons, get steamed or polished, and anything that needs to be cold goes into the cooler.
The set table is lit, the camera is tethered, and the first frame goes up on the calibrated monitor for your approval.
Overhead, forty-five degrees and straight-on, while the product is at its freshest. Pours and condensation come after, with tweezers and a spritz bottle.
Props, linen, boards and a hand model if you booked one. Whole-range frames are built last, once every single is in the can.
We narrow the day's frames to the edit, send the retouching notes for your sign-off, and tell you the delivery date to the day.
Mon–Thu 8am–7pm and Fri to 1pm. Ten minutes usually settles which package fits.

The room
The studio is a single room on Sterling Avenue, arranged around one overhead rig. There is a kettle, a chair beside the monitor and a shelf for the samples you've sent, which is how the room is meant to feel to visit.
Come by during opening hours and we'll show you the table your product will sit on.
Visit or send samples
Drop samples off, ask to see the table, or meet the person who'll be shooting your range.
Shoot packages run $450 to $1,400, with retouching and licensing included.
